The Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, Three Rivers Downtown Development Authority, and Three Rivers Area Community Foundation have announced the forthcoming launch of a $20 for $20 Gift Card Promotion for locally owned small businesses in Three Rivers. The promotion is expected to launch Friday, May 8 and end on May 31.
According to a release from the Three Rivers Area Community Foundation, when a donation is made through the foundation for a $20 gift card, the organization will provide the purchaser with an additional FREE $20 gift card for the same business, providing “a great way to help and support locally owned small businesses.”
The foundation’s $5,000 donation will cover the purchase of 250 matching gift cards potentially creating an additional $10,000 spent in the community.
Starting Friday, May 8 at 12 p.m. individuals can visit www.threeriversfoundation.com and make a $20 donation to get a gift card from a participating business and the foundation will match your $20 donation with an identical gift card of the same value.

“If you own a local business and your doors are closed right now, contact us, we can work together to help you produce gift certificates! We want to help you!,” Bliss stated in the release.
$20 for $20 Gift Card Program Details:
- Limit of 8 ($160 donation) per purchaser.
- To receive the corresponding gift card(s) to the same business, you must make your gift card purchase at www.threeriversfoundation.com.
- Program will take place from 12 p.m. Friday, May 8 until May 31 at 11:59 p.m. or until funds run out.
- According to public response, the program could end ahead of time or be extended.
- Gift cards will be mailed approximately 5-7 days after purchase.
- Gift cards are only available at the participating businesses listed.
- Companies must be locally owned, have less than 50 employees and in the 49093 zip code. At this time, franchisees are not eligible.
