St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Brooks is the department’s employee of the year.

In a press release issued by the Sheriff’s office, Sgt. Brandon Dahl said, “Deputy Brooks is always positive at work, punctual, someone who can be counted on, and one to always give 100 percent.” According to the sheriff’s office Brooks “sets a great example for other members of the department and will continue to set the bar high.”

Brooks has been with the department for four years. He is a graduate of Vicksburg High School and served in the United States Army. During his time with the Department, he has fulfilled assignments as an Accident Investigator, a Speed Enforcement Trainer, and a member of the Special Response Team.
