TRCS Board of Education sends letter regarding Moag’s resignation

The Three Rivers Community Schools Board of Education sent the following letter to local media Tuesday regarding the recent resignation of Superintendent Ron Moag. It reads as follows:

October 12, 2021

Dear Three Rivers Community Schools Families and Staff:

On October 4, 2021, Superintendent Ron Moag submitted his resignation to the Board of Education due to the acceptance of a new opportunity out West; the Board voted on Monday, October 11, 2021 to relieve him of his duties effective immediately.

Effective October 12, 2021, Nikki Nash, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, will assume the role of Interim Superintendent for the remainder of the 2021-2022 School Year. Ms. Nash’s years of experience and dedication to TRCS make her the ideal candidate for this interim role. The Board is confident that Ms. Nash will continue to move TRCS forward in the right direction while the search for a new Superintendent begins, and we are excited to see what her leadership brings.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Superintendent Moag for his service to TRCS and wish him the best of luck in his new endeavor.

Sincerely,
Three Rivers Board of Education
