Three Rivers assistant city attorney to be honored for over 30 years of service

Assistant City Attorney John Barnes is expected to be honored by the Three Rivers City Commission during its regular meeting tonight.

After over 30 years of service, Barnes is expected to retire. Watershed Voice will have more about Mr. Barnes later this week. The meeting will be begin at 6 p.m. at Three Rivers City Hall but if you can’t attend in-person, it will also be live streamed on the city’s Facebook page.

Three Rivers City Commissioners will also consider the following agenda items:

Clean Water State Revolving Fund Financing (CWSRF) Bond Authorizing Ordinance 

A bond ordinance authorizing the City of Three Rivers to issue Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System Bond, Series 2022 in the amount of and not to exceed $9,500,000.

Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund (CWSRF) Construction Contract 

A resolution tentatively awarding a construction contract to Davis Construction, Inc for Contract A – Pump Stations in the amount of $10,056,942 contingent upon the acceptance of a change order reducing the project scope in the amount of $3,147,514 for a total of $6,909,438.

Asset Management Program

An agreement from Cartegraph, authorizing Amy Roth, Public Services Director, to execute the agreement and authorize a purchase order in the amount of $36,972.34 for set-up fees and year 1 of the subscription fee.
