Monday, September 9 marked the start of the latest biannual hydrant flushing in Three Rivers. Flushing is expected to continue through Friday, October 13, the Three Rivers Department of Public Services announced.
Flushing will occur from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Three Rivers Department of Public Services said the exact date of flushing in each district cannot be determined as of Monday. Their current plan is to start in the first district and then move on to the fourth, second, and third districts.
Citizens are urged to be aware of the flushing and to be aware that some rusty water may occur during this time. Anyone with prolonged problems can call the DPS office at 269-273-1845.
