Deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department are actively investigating a breaking and entering of a Lockport Township storage unit that likely occurred sometime in the last two weeks.

Deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a breaking and entering that occurred in the 16000 Block of Muskrat Rd. in Park Township.
An 18-year-old broke into a Dollar General early Tuesday morning in Centreville and alcohol appears to have been the motivating factor.
A 25-year-old Sturgis resident was arrested Friday after they were found breaking into a garage in Three Rivers.
In a press release, the Office of St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite reported that a suspect was taken into custody Tuesday following a reported break-in which included reported gunshots. Deputies responded to a Nottawa Township trailer park following a report of shots fired. According to the release, the subject attempted to break into an occupied residence, firing a single shot before fleeing on foot.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, two suspects broke into several storage units. The incident occurred in the 59000 block of highway U.S.-131 in Fabius Township.
A number of items were stolen Tuesday, June 16 from a building in the 22000 block of M-60 in St. Joseph County.
