The City of Three Rivers recently announced the 2024 summer program schedule for Scidmore Park (112 Spring St.). These free educational programs will take place at the pavillon just outside the petting zoo gates from 1-2 p.m. on Saturdays in June, July, and August.

At 1:21 p.m. Sunday, Three Rivers Police Department (TRPD) officers were dispatched to Scidmore Park, responding to a report of a man with a gun and a possible kidnapping.
The Tenth Annual Historic Bridge Walk is proceeding as planned this Labor Day in Three Rivers. Participants can begin their walk on September 7 between 9:00 a.m. and noon. The event is free and will take place rain or shine, unless lightning is present.
