The theme for the 67th annual Three Rivers Water Festival has been announced, and it should make for quite the opening ceremony.

The 66th Annual Water Festival kicked off in Three Rivers with its parade Thursday evening, a well-loved tradition that brings crowds to line the roads, wave at the floats as they pass by, and collect candy. Check out our gallery of Thursday’s parade.
The annual event, considered by many to be the unofficial start of the summer season in Three Rivers, will run from noon Thursday, June 15 through Saturday evening, June 17.
The 65th Annual Three Rivers Water Festival got underway Thursday, and while food vendors, the Sue Silliman House, and the Carnival Midway were frequented by many in the hours before, the unofficial start of the annual event is often marked by the Water Festival Parade. Thursday was no different.

After considering several options the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors recently selected the theme for this year’s Water Festival.
A group of hardworking volunteers has already begun to plan the 2021 64th annual Three Rivers Water Festival. This year’s Festival will return following the first-ever cancellation of last year’s event, made necessary by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Three Rivers Lions Club’s ever-popular Ox Roast which normally takes place during the annual Three Rivers Water Festival in June, will instead occur in the form of a drive-through event in September at the Lions Club facility on Sixth Street.
