Three Rivers woman killed in fatal crash after striking tree in Nottawa Twp.

A 19-year-old Three Rivers woman was killed in fatal crash Tuesday evening after the vehicle she was driving struck a tree and caught fire in the 56000 block of Covered Bridge Road in Nottawa Township.

A 19-year-old Three Rivers woman was killed in fatal crash Tuesday evening after the vehicle she was driving struck a tree and caught fire in the 56000 block of Covered Bridge Road in Nottawa Township.

Karly Aezandrea Bingaman was the sole occupant of a vehicle traveling northbound on Covered Bridge Road when her vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree. Bingaman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
