Screen Tea Podcast catch-up: Episodes 16, 17, 18

WARNING: The following episode of Screen Tea Podcast includes strong language, so if you want to avoid such language for the sake of yourself, your kids or your cat, please be advised.

With everything going on in the world the Watershed Voice podcast network got a bit neglected in recent weeks but today we’ll catch you up on the last three Screen Tea Podcast episodes ahead of Episode 19.

So without further adieu, enjoy the witty banter of Lisha and Juliet McCurry:

Episode 16: The Avengers & Avengers: Age of Ultron

Join Lisha and Juliet as they delve into their reviews of The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) in a special Monday episode of Screen Tea Podcast! Back to something akin to their typical review format, lend the ladies your ears as Lisha DOESN’T CRY about Phil Coulson (she really doesn’t though, even though she does lament a fuckton over JARVIS), Jules gets heated over unnecessary NatBruce feelings, and they both share a borderline unhealthy amount of adoration over production design and tech in the earlier Avengers films (although, perhaps not as unhealthy as Nick Fury’s bond with the helicarrier…)

Sources for information gathered for this episode were: www.imdb.comwww.wikipedia.orgwww.metacritic.com, and http://www.rottentomatoes.com, as well as a shitload of years of MCU watchin’ experience.

Episode 17: Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame

Join Lisha and Juliet as they bawl into their teacups during their reviews of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). From their tandem excitement over Nomad, battling it out over what was and wasn’t OOC, how badly Natasha was screwed over (sorry, Clint, but it shoulda been you, bud), and everybody shedding some tears (why is Lisha crying over Bruce, exactly?), pull up a bench (before they all get yeeted into the lake) and lend the lassies your ears!

Episode 18: Mystic River

Join Lisha and Juliet as they traverse through Trauma Street, located this time around in good ‘ole South Boston, aka Lisha’s favorite film backdrop! From basically agreeing that this ensemble of actors did everything right (if you don’t agree that Laurence Fishburne makes every movie better, who even are you?), wondering what the fuck was up with Sean’s character in general, and deciding that Love Actually is essentially a sidequest to this joyful little flick (thanks Laura Linney), pull out your lager and get to sippin’ with the ladies for this week’s episode!
