Three Rivers Community Players offering camps in June

The Three Rivers Community Players (TRCP) are offering summer camps for teens and elementary students this summer.

Camp Staff Member Eathan Bingaman, who has performed with the TRCP since third grade, said the camps provide a great experience for students regardless of their current skill level.

“Our camps are a great place for students who are just beginning and also students who are looking to improve their theatre skills,” Bingaman said. “Our teachers are well educated and experienced on a variety of theatrical subjects and styles. All ready to share their expertise.”

The elementary level camps, which will take place on June 17-21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be split into two age groups, with one for students ages 4-6 and the other for ages 7-12.

Students in the 4-6 age group will be offered either a morning or afternoon session. The cost for the elementary level camps is $125 per student. For the 7-12 age group, the cost is $150 per student.

The teen camp is open to students ages 12-17. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of performing or on technical skills, depending on the student’s preference. The camp runs from June 3-7, with sessions meeting each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost for the teen camp is $150 per camper.

All campers are expected to bring a lunch. Payment is due on the Monday of camp week before the first session begins. Register here.
