Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation is hosting a free winter event today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Mayors' Riverfront Park, and Downtown Kalamazoo will host the second annual "Ice in the Zoo" on Saturday.

A public hearing on the proposed changes is scheduled to take place this coming Monday, November 2.
