Early voting site established in St. Joseph County

St. Joseph County voters now have the choice to cast their ballot in-person at an early voting site as well as the choices to cast their ballot in-person at their precinct on Election Day or through an absentee ballot process. The county’s cities and townships have entered an agreement to host early voting for all registered voters at the county’s training facility at 602 E. Main St. in Centreville.

The early voting site will be available for all statewide and federal elections. Early voting is the right to cast your ballot before Election Day by casting your ballot at the site, and inserting your ballot directly into a tabulator. County election workers will secure ballots and equipment at the end of each day of early voting, and results will be published at the end of Election Day when other results are published. Voter assistance terminals with visual, hearing, and mobility assistance will be available at the early voting site for anyone to use.

Early voting will begin on February 17, 2024 for the Presidential Primary Election. Hours for each of the nine days will be posted on the county’s website, www.stjosephcountymi.org and are as follows:

• Saturday, February 17th, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday, February 18th, 1 0 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Monday, February 19th, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, February 20th, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Wednesday, February 21st, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Thursday, February 22nd, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Friday, February 23rd, 9a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Saturday, February 24th, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Sunday, February 25th, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
