Kalamazoo to host Natural World Symposium on April 27

Want to learn more about natural issues like native lawns & gardens, urban deer, and invasive species? The City of Kalamazoo has you covered.

The Natural World Symposium will take place on Saturday, April 27, at the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Regional Program and Training Center in Kalamazoo (601 W. Maple Street) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided during the five-hour program.

The event will feature speakers from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, City of Kalamazoo, and Barry, Calhoun, Kalamazoo Cooperative Invasive Species Management Areas, as well as a citizen naturalist:
