Volunteers needed for Three Rivers Community Clean-Up Day

(Downtown Three Rivers, Facebook)

The Three Rivers DDA/Main Street Program is hosting this year’s Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in downtown Three Rivers.

Organizers are hopeful that at least 150 volunteers will participate in this year’s event, with expected projects to include planting flowers, pulling weeds, and collecting trash, among many others.

Volunteers will meet at 8:30 a.m. sharp at the Three Rivers DDA/Main Street office located at 57 N. Main Street. Groups will then be assigned to specific locations. Most projects will last between two and three hours but any time you can give is appreciated.

Following the projects, there will be a volunteer appreciation reception hosted by the DDA at 12:30 p.m. in the Mural Mall walkthrough.
