Nearly $17,000 was raised by the Three Rivers Promise during their third annual Run for the Future event on Saturday. All proceeds from Saturday’s 5K run and one-mile fun run benefit the Promise, whose aim is to provide financial assistance for college or a vocational education to Three Rivers High School graduates.

Ellie Reed from Mendon was the fastest female runner, crossing the finish line in 25:10.2, while Eli Drallette from Climax was the male leader, finishing in 23:22.5.
