A local, original musical production will open tonight at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts in downtown Sturgis. The production is called “The Imagination of History,” a sequel to the 2019 production “The Imagination of Storybooks.”

The Southwestern Michigan College Theatre Department is set to present the classic horror comedy “Little Shop of Horrors!” opening tonight Thursday, March 21, at the Dale A. Lyons Building on the Dowagiac Campus.
Opening night for the Three Rivers Community Players (TRCP) production of “Frozen Jr.” is set for tomorrow, August 4, and is a kid-performed adaption of the 2013 Disney animated film, and Tony-award-nominated 2018 Broadway production. The show will run for two weekends on August 4-6, and August 11-13.
Three Rivers High School students are presenting their spring musical “Annie” for two weekends running from March 17 through March 26. Tickets are $10 for adults and seniors, $5 for students, and are available for purchase online.
Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play, an upcoming production from the Mendon/Centreville Drama Club, isn’t necessarily what you might think of when you think of a play.
