A 77-year-old Lawton man died Monday due to injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Fabius Township.

The Three Rivers Police and Three Rivers Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire Sunday in the 1500 block of Eighth St. but upon arrival discovered no fire. Authorities would quickly determine that an explosion, not a fire, had occurred at the residence.
