Approximately 300 people gathered in front of the St. Joseph County Courthouse Saturday to protest the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which had previously established abortion as a constitutional right.

According to organizers, the protest saw as many as 140 people demonstrating at one time, and 300 total participants over the course of four hours. The event was organized by the Three Rivers Pride Committee, a local group recently formed to raise funds for an annual Pride festival in Three Rivers.
