A group of hardworking volunteers has already begun to plan the 2023 66th annual Three Rivers Water Festival. The annual event, considered by many to be the unofficial start of the summer season in Three Rivers, will run from noon Thursday, June 15 through Saturday evening, June 17.
After considering several options, Water Festival Committee members selected the theme “TR Goes Tropical” for this year’s event. Committee members felt the theme is familiar to most, which would allow participants in the parade to come up with some creative entries. The committee said they hope the community enjoys this year’s theme and comes out to celebrate the Water Festival in 2023.
The Water Festival will feature many returning favorites including the annual kick-off parade, Kids Zone, the popular Car Show, a 5K/1 mile fun run, the Arts and Crafts Show in Scidmore Park, food vendors, a concert followed by the popular fireworks display, and many more crowd pleasers.
