Glen Oaks Community College’s Health Science department is set to host the Healthcare College and Employment Fair on Tuesday, February 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the grand concourse. This free event welcomes both GOCC students and the public, providing an opportunity for those seeking new employment or looking to advance their healthcare education.

“This event is a great opportunity for GOCC students and community members who are aspiring to pursue careers in the medical field to engage with healthcare providers actively seeking to fill open positions,” said Sara Birch, Dean of the Health Science Department at GOCC. “Our students always look forward to this event to help them jump-start their careers.”

GOCC is actively inviting healthcare employers and colleges with healthcare programs to participate as exhibitors in the event. There is no cost to exhibit, and exhibitors will be treated to a complimentary lunch. Fifteen (15) employers and five (5) regional colleges have secured their spaces and are gearing up to conduct on-site interviews. Attendees are strongly encouraged to dress professionally, bring their resumes, and be ready for potential interviews.
