White Pigeon woman injured in two-vehicle crash

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Porter Township Tuesday, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say the crash happened around 2:56 p.m. Tuesday, February 27 at the intersection of US-12 and Baldwin Prairie Road.

Gregory Donley of Elkhart was reportedly traveling eastbound on US-12 when he hit Jennifer Irions of White Pigeon, who was trying to go from North to Southbound Baldwin Prairie Road. Deputies say Irions was taken to the hospital via ambulance with injuries sustained in the crash. Donley was not injured.

Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor, and both parties wore seatbelts. The crash is still being investigated.
