Cass County Parks and Recreation to host Spring Egg-Stravaganza

Kids ages 2-10 can hunt for Easter eggs at Dr. TK Lawless Park on March 23

Thousands of Easter eggs will be scattered throughout Dr. TK Lawless Park in Vandalia later this month for kids ages 2 to 10 to hunt. The Spring Egg-Stravaganza, hosted by Cass County Parks and Recreation, will include a scramble for eggs, games, and more on Saturday, March 23 from noon to 2 p.m.

The scramble for eggs will be divided into two age groups, with one group searching for eggs while the other group participates in other activities before hunting themselves a little later in the day. Kids ages 2 to 4 will hunt for eggs at approximately 12:30 p.m., and ages 5 to 10 will hunt at around 1:30 p.m.

Cost of admission is $2 per person or one canned food item per person. Other activities will include inflatables, games, craft, face painting, a campfire, a solar telescope demonstration, a wagon ride, and a visit by a special guest.
