Haas this year’s Book of Golden Deeds award recipient

The Exchange Club of Sturgis will host the annual Book of Golden Deeds award ceremony on Thursday, March 21 at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts.

The award is given to dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents to make their communities better places to live. This year Sturgis attorney and Mendon native Joe Haas will be honored for his work in the community.

The ceremony is part of the Exchange Club’s regularly scheduled meeting, starting at 11:45 am. A buffet luncheon will be served. Anyone interested in attending is asked to RSVP by email to Claudia Pahls at [email protected] by March 14.

The Exchange Club is a national organization with 700 clubs and more than 21,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico dedicated to community service. The Book of Golden Deeds program recognizes volunteers who have made a significant impact in their communities.
