Two suspects identified in Three Rivers bank robbery

Currently in custody on unrelated charges

The Three Rivers Police Department has announced two individuals have been identified as suspects in the bank robbery that occurred in Three Rivers back in February. They are currently being held in police custody on unrelated charges.

On February 3 at 10:59 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of N. Main St. for a report of a bank robbery. When officers arrived, they found that the suspects had fled the scene on foot. A canine track was conducted, but the suspects were not found.

Authorities were able to identify a vehicle that was used by the suspects to flee the scene, and use their automated license plate reader system (Flock) to track the suspects across state lines.

With assistance from other law enforcement agencies in Indiana, the Three Rivers Police Department was able to identify the suspects, and is currently working with St. Joseph County Prosecutor David Marvin on issuing criminal charges in connection with the robbery.
