The Fabius-Park Fire Department (FPFD) reports residents escaped unharmed when a house caught fire earlier this week in Fabius Township. The FPFD with auto aid from the City of Three Rivers were dispatched to the scene Thursday around 2:06 p.m. in the 15000 block of Gleason Rd.

Fire crews received reports of a single story brick structure with smoke coming from the eves. When they arrived, crews saw rapidly deteriorating fire conditions in the basement and first floor. The fire was deemed under control in about 35 minutes. No injuries were reported.
