St. Joseph County ISD hosted nine high schools, 10 middle schools in February competition

The St. Joseph County ISD hosted their annual Quiz Bowl tournaments on February 28 and 29. The competition was open to students from nine different high schools and 10 middle schools in the county.

Area schools studied a variety of subjects, including literature, science, math, social studies and more, to prepare for the competition.

The competition began with four team rounds, followed by nine head-to-head toss-up rounds.

At the high school level the White Pigeon team came in first place (92 points), the Howardsville Christian team came in second (90 points), and the Sturgis team came in third overall (88 points).

The Three Rivers team came in first place among the middle schools (125 points), Howardsville Christian came in second (123 points), and Sturgis came in third overall (109 points).
