Shows start at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5 & Saturday, April 6
A production of “Illinois Jane and the Pyramid of Peril — Dinner Theater” will be performed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burr Oak this week. The show is co-directed by Michele Kelley and Quinn Kelley, both of whom are from Sturgis.
The play follows the adventures of an Indiana Jones-like cartographer named Illinois Jane. After French villain Pierre LeMalodeur and his henchmen Marcel the Mime and Claudette steal an ancient tablet from Jane’s father’s museum, Jane and her sidekick Sid must stop them from using the tablet to find a long lost pyramid, and stealing the secret to immortality.
“Illinois Jane and the Pyramid of Peril” will be performed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burr Oak on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for both children and adults, and can be purchased by calling 269-251-1447. Reservations are recommended due to limited seating.
A three-course dinner, including a baked steak with all the trimmings and the church’s famous Carmel Nut Apple Pie, will be served.
