The City of Kalamazoo provided updates Monday regarding ongoing roadwork and upcoming road closures.

The intersection of Whites Road and Duke Street would be closed starting on Thursday, April 11. The closure will be for utility work and a detour route will be available.

Residents on Whites east of Duke will be allowed through the intersection to access their driveways. Duke Street north of Whites must be accessed via Bronson Boulevard.

Starting on Monday, April 22, the Angling Road intersection at Oakland Drive will be closed through July for construction. The closure will have impacts on traffic, but the city said sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians and bicycles. There will also be no restrictions to northbound and southbound traffic on Oakland Drive at Angling Road.
