Scidmore Park (City of Three Rivers website)

The City of Three Rivers recently announced the 2024 summer program schedule for Scidmore Park (112 Spring St.). These free educational programs will take place at the pavillon just outside the petting zoo gates from 1-2 p.m. on Saturdays in June, July, and August.

  • Mark’s Reptiles will be at the park on June 1, 15, and 29, as well as July 13, and on August 10 and 31. Get a chance to meet Mark and some of his reptile friends up close for an educational and interactive experience.
  • On June 8, the park will be hosting See Me Home Senior Dog Sanctuary. During this event, you will learn about the sanctuary and the services they offer.
  • On June 15, the park will take part in the annual Three Rivers Water Festival.
  • For those looking for more animal fun, the park will also be hosting Wildlife Wonders on July 6. Join Sarett Nature Center as they bring a variety of animal friends to discuss animal adaptations and classifications.
