The Kalamazoo Public Library will be the site for an open house on May 8 to help the community share their thoughts and ideas for economic development in the city.

The free event will offer citizens a chance to connect with city officials, experts, and other community members. The goal of the open house is to help identify opportunities, tackle challenges, and set priorities for economic growth, according to the City of Kalamazoo.

Residents, business owners, and those passionate about the future of Kalamazoo are invited to attend.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 in the Van Deusen Room at the Kalamazoo Public Library, 315 S. Rose St., Kalamazoo.
