The Kalamazoo City Commission will meet Monday night to accept a $12 million-plus grant to fund the future reconstruction of Kalamazoo and Michigan Avenues.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. with a Committee of the Whole meeting followed by a regular business meeting at 7 p.m.

The commission was originally expected to discuss updates to the city’s parking system, but that has been postponed to the June 17 meeting.
