Over 220 runners, joggers, and walkers participated in the first annual Three Rivers Promise Run for the Future 5K on Saturday, April 23 at Meyer Broadway Park in Three Rivers.

The event featured awards, food, and prizes with custom medals for first place finishers in all age categories. Proceeds from the run benefited the Three Rivers Promise, a 501(c)(3) scholarship fund to help all graduates of the Three Rivers Community Schools pursue post-secondary training and education.
