One person was injured Saturday in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US-12 and Robbins Lake Road in Porter Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was reported at approximately 9:18 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. Officials say 36-year-old Three Rivers resident Joshua Leszczewski was negotiating a curve when he crossed the center line of the road. Leszczewski then hit a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Edwardsburg resident Kristin Levan.

Levan was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash, according to police, and seatbelts were worn by all parties.

Newberg Fire and Edwardsburg Ambulance assisted deputies at the scene.
