HarmonyFest continues the tradition of a free admission Labor Day weekend event with music, family fun, food, and friendship.
Youth and teens ages 18 and under are invited to participate in the talent show. They have until July 25 to register.
Saturday’s event at The Huss Project featured 10 acts and raised $1,984 for local, independent journalism.

Kalamazoo’s Bronson Park (200 S. Rose St.) is gearing up for summer with the return of “Lunchtime Live!” The festival series will feature live music, summertime games, and a variety of food trucks every Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from June 14 through August 30.
The Huss Project Farmer’s Market is hosting its June Second Saturday on Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market will feature local art vendors, live music, and a variety of local vendors selling early season produce, baked goods, syrup, honey, eggs, meat, coffee and more.

On this week’s episode of Keep Your Voice Down, Alek and Doug are joined by Washington-based hip hop producer and artist Blake Alford. The Anderson, Indiana native talks about his latest project Domino Effect, and the added effort that went into producing the album’s first single, Oxygen, which is set to drop on November 10.

The ‘Burg Days of Summer is a brand new summer series planned for the Village of Vicksburg, and tonight at 5:30 p.m. is the kick-off for the event. The festival promises live music in the streets, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and an opportunity to positively impact a local non-profit.
The Sturgis Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is hosting the fourth annual Bourbon, Bacon, and Blues event tonight, Friday, May 26, on North Street in downtown Sturgis. The festival will include live music, bacon-themed food offerings, axe throwing, and 12 participating distilleries.
